Instructions on How To Use QPATH
General Documentation Protocols
- ENSURE the correct clinicians and patient MRN are registered on the image.
- DOCUMENT only what you see!
- If you are unable to ascertain a view necessary for completion, DOCUMENT WHAT VIEW WHAT NOT OBTAINED due to “limited view”.
- If you are unsure of a finding, USE GENERAL LANGUAGE such as “no visible stones” or “no obvious right heart dilation”
- CONSIDER arrows or question marks for findings you believe to be pathology and ask your attending to review the image.
- OBGYN images must be reviewed by an attending at the bedside.
- SAVE a still image of your interpretation
- CLEAN the probe
- Consider including them in the MDM section of EMR
