Treatment:
Treatment is slowing the conduction through the AV node: ABCD
A: Amiodarone
B: Beta Blocker
C: Calcium Channel Blocker
D: Digoxin

A-fib with Rapid Ventricular Response:
Example:
- IV Diltiazem 10mg followed by
- PO Diltiazem 60mg

Aspirin vs. Coumadin:
CHADS2 Score
Does not need bridging

New Onset Afib:
Patient needs evaluation for atrial clot

Chronic A-fib:
Patient can be discharged home

Follow up with EPS for possible ablation
